研究結果發表在“食品與功能”雜誌 上,新的研究表明,在亞洲流行的食品'紅棗'殺死了實驗室裡的癌細胞。據英國皇家化學學會的研究人員說,紅棗引起腫瘤的“內部壓力”而引發癌細胞死亡。結果表明,腫瘤細胞暴露於棗的實驗中引發癌細胞自殺。研究人員將肺,乳腺和前列腺癌細胞暴露在紅棗果實中八種化合物中。結果,四种红棗的化合物降低了這些細胞的存活率,此外,三种红棗化合物會引發癌細胞自殺。這種化合物引起的內部應力被認為會損傷腫瘤的結構。
